Summer tryouts will be held the week of July 16th. We will have teams in the following age groups: 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. Our 5th grade team will be a transition year filled with instruction and a few summer tournaments to get you used to the club lacrosse life! More information for tryout registration will be released soon so check back and save the date on your calendar!

The SPLax community has suffered a tragic loss, and on behalf of the Vander Kolk family, thank you for ALL of your love and support through this extremely difficult time. Tracy will forever be remembered as a beautiful, intelligent, athletic, hard-working, and quick-witted young woman. From this day forward, she will live on in the hearts of all of the SPLax members, on and off the field.
The viewing is set to be held on Monday, May 14th, from 2pm-5pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. at 495 Richie Highway in Severna Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, May 15, at 10:00am at Our Lady of the Fields Church, 1070 Cecil Avenue, Millersville, MD. Lets come together as a community to express our love to the Vander Kolk family.
Goalie Lessons!
Calling all goalies! If you would like private lessons this summer, our SPLax alum and current goalie for Boston College, Emily Mata, is offering private lessons. Calling ALL 3rd-6th Grade Laxers: SPLax is sponsoring summer league teams!
SPLax Club is going to sponsor girls lacrosse teams this summer to play in the “Pick Up” Hero’s Lacrosse summer league at the Anne Arundel Community College.
SPLax will be fielding BOTH Pee Wee (3rd and 4th grade girls) AND Middie (5th and 6th grade girls) teams, based on the grade level the girls will be entering the following fall.
The registration fee is $70 per girl paid to “Hero’s Lacrosse” and a $30 fee paid to SPLax to cover the coaches and some fun extras. Teams will be coached by former SPLax players who will be playing Division I lacrosse next year. All games will be played on Wednesday nights at AACC from 6:00pm-7:00pm. It’s a relaxed summer league which recognizes girls are on vacation and will not be able to make every Wednesday night game.

Summer Lessons Filling Up!!
Remember to register for summer small-group lessons with Kate Hickman as soon as possible. In mid-May, the lesson slots will open up to ALL players in the area, so take advantage of you’re chance now. Register as a group or as an individual that wants to be placed in a group of similar age groups. Click on the “Services” tab for more information! Locations of the lessons can be adjusted to your convenience.

SPLax is hosting its first annual St. Patrick’s Day Tournament!
This tournament is at API Sport Indoor Turf Saturday March 17, from 10am-2pm
Pee Wee (3rd and 4th Grade) and Middie (5th and 6th Grade)
Each team will get to play 4 25minute games, 5v5. $100 per team.
